An exhibition organized by AP which showcased the results of the Towards Frugality Workshop 2011 was opened on Thursday the 14th July 2011. The Towards Frugality Workshop 2011 set participants the task of creating concepts for temporary emergency housing for the Hal Far Open Centre in Malta. Thirteen teams worked through an 8 hour workshop to produce schemes for new low-cost housing solutions for immigrants and refugees currently on the Islands. The projects were developed always bearing in mind the philosophy of frugality as it had been expounded the day before during the Towards Frugality Symposium 2011.
The exhibition, which ran for one week, displayed the results produced by each of the workshop participants. The exhibition was held at the Halmann Vella Showroom in Mosta Road, Lija. and was sponsored by Halmann Vella Ltd.
The 2010 edition of the London festival of Architecture included a project developed by Architecture Project (AP) which formed part of the International Architectural Showcase within the festival. The exhibition, entitled Novelletta: Hysterical Symptoms of a CITY in Old Age, opened on 21st of June 2010, and ran until the 17th July 2010. The exhibition was displayed at the Vincent Gallery of the Building Centre, Store Street, London WC13 7BT.
-Interface- is a collaborative design research led by Architecture Project and the Canterbury School of Architecture – Interiors. It was presented during the Milan Furniture Fair in April 2010 and consisted of an installation bearing information on their ongoing research in design practice.
